In accordance with paragraph 6(1) of schedule 19 of the Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Directions by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2022 and come into force on 24 March 2022.

In regulation 15(1) (expiry and review) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Directions by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Regulations 2020[^f00002], for “25 March” substitute “24September”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Directions by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Regulations 2020 (“the Directions Regulations”). These Regulations come into force on 24 March 2022.

Regulation 2 amends regulation 15(1) (expiry and review) of the Directions Regulations by extending the date on which they expire from 25 March 2022 to 24 September 2022.
