The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3ZA(7) and section 3ZB(7)(a) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1975[^f00001] (“the 1975 Act”) and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Valuation (Proposals Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 1 April 2023.

These Regulations apply to any proposal made to an assessor under section 3ZA(1) of the 1975 Act.

the assessor must send to the proposer a statement, in writing, setting out the reasons for the failure to do so.

Disapplication of regulations 7, 9, 10, 12 and 16

Regulations 7, 9, 10, 12 and 16 do not apply where—
