In accordance with paragraph 6(1) of schedule 19 of the Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 4) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 27 February 2022.

In regulation 19(1) (expiry) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Regulations 2021[^f00002], for “28 February” substitute “24 September”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 (“the Principal Regulations”). These Regulations come into force on 27February 2022.

Regulation 2 amends regulation 19(1) (expiry) of the Principal Regulations by extending the date on which they expire from 28 February 2022 to 24 September 2022.
