The Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023

In accordance with section 54(1) of the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Scotland) Act 1965[^f00002], the Scottish Ministers have approved the making of these Regulations.
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023 and come into force on 1 February 2023.
Amendment of the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1997

- (1) The Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1997[^f00003] are amended as follows.
- (2) For the form in schedule 25 (Register of Corrections Etc.), substitute the form in the schedule of these Regulations.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1997 (“the 1997 Regulations”) to make minor changes to theform set out in schedule 25. Regulation 28 of the 1997 Regulations provides that the Register of Corrections Etc. comprises insertions in the form set out in schedule 25.
The Regulations apply from 1 February 2023.
