Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 2025
Made: 6th May 2025

Coming into force: 10th June 2025
The Court of Session makes this Act of Sederunt under the powers conferred by section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879[^f00001] and all other powers enabling it to do so.
Citation and commencement, etc.

- (1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 2025.
- (2) It comes into force on 10th June 2025.
- (3) A certified copy is to be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
Lands Valuation Appeal Court

The judges named for the purposes of appeal under section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879 are—
- (a) The Right Honourable Lord Malcolm;
- (b) The Right Honourable Lord Doherty;
- (c) The Right Honourable Lord Tyre; and
- (d) The Honourable Lord Ericht.

The Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 2023[^f00002] is revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Act of Sederunt)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Act of Sederunt appoints the judges who may hear appeals under section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879. It revokes the Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 2023 which previously made such provision.
