The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(1) and (4)(b) of the Scottish Register of Tartans Act 2008[^f00001] and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 14(3) of that Act, the Scottish Ministers have consulted the Keeper of the Scottish Register of Tartans[^f00002].
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Register of Tartans Fees Order 2025 and comes into force on 19 January 2026.
Fees payable

The fee payable to the Keeper of the Scottish Register of Tartans under a provision of the Scottish Register of Tartans Act 2008 specified in column 1 of the schedule in respect of the matter specified in relation to it in column 2 of the schedule is the fee specified in relation to it in column 3 of the schedule.
Revocation

The Scottish Register of Tartans Fees Order 2009[^f00003] is revoked.

Explanatory note

Explanatory Note
This Order updates the fees payable for services provided by the Keeper of the Scottish Register of Tartans and revokes the Scottish Register of Tartans Fees Order 2009.
The fees payable in respect of services provided by the Keeper in relation to the Scottish Register of Tartans which attract a fee are set out in the schedule of the Order. The fee for the provision of a framed certificate, framed copy of certificate or framed amended certificate is no longer applicable because that service is no longer available.
