The Sea Fish (Prohibition on Fishing) (Firth of Clyde) Revocation Order 2026

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(1)(a), 5(2) and 20(1) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967[^f00001] and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Sea Fish (Prohibition on Fishing) (Firth of Clyde) Revocation Order 2026 and comes into force on 18 February 2026.

Revocation

The Sea Fish (Prohibition on Fishing) (Firth of Clyde) Order 2026[^f00002] is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes the Sea Fish (Prohibition on Fishing) (Firth of Clyde) Order 2026. That Order prohibited all methods of fishing within specified areas of the Firth of Clyde and also provided exemptions within specified areas.
