(1) The Secretary of State shall lay before Parliament each financial year a register of organisations listed in the Schedule to this Act, these being publicly-financed international parliamentary organisations which are in receipt of an annual grant-in-aid to fund both British and international secretariats and which draw their membership from both Houses of Parliament.

(2) The register shall include the following—

(a) the name of the organisation; and

(b) the amount of money allocated to that organisation in that financial year.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the International Parliamentary Organisations (Registration) Act 1989.
