Definition of managers

In section 145(1) of the Mental Health Act 1983 (definitions) in the definition of “the managers”, in paragraph (bb) the words “the directors of” shall be omitted.

Short title, extent and commencement

• (1) This Act may be cited as the Mental Health (Amendment) Act 1994.

• (2) This Act extends to England and Wales only.

• (3) This Act shall come into force twenty-one days after Royal Assent.
