Supreme Court (Offices) Act 1997 (repealed)
Qualification for, and tenure of, office

- (1) In Part I of Schedule 2 to the Supreme Court Act 1981 (which sets out the qualifications required for appointment of certain officers of the Supreme Court and, by virtue of section 92 of that Act, provides for the age at which any such officer must retire), the entry relating to the Permanent Secretary to the Lord Chancellor and the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery is repealed.
- (2) The repeal made by subsection (1) does not apply to the person who, on the date on which this Act comes into force, holds the offices.

This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court (Offices) Act 1997.
