Liability of officers etc. for obstruction by body corporate

(1) In section 314 of the Highways Act 1980 (c. 66) (offences by body corporate), in subsection (3) after “sections” there is inserted “137, 137ZA,”.

(2) Section 314 applies by virtue of this section to any offence under section 137ZA(3) (offence of failing to comply with an order under section 137ZA(1)) committed after the commencement of this Act, including one committed in respect of an order made before that commencement.

Commencement and short title

(1) This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

(2) This Act may be cited as the Highways (Obstruction by Body Corporate) Act 2004.
