The Family Provision Act 1966 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1966
Made: 18th November 1966
I, Gerald, Baron Gardiner, Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 10(4) of the Family Provision Act 1966, hereby make the following order:—

The Family Provision Act 1966, except sections 3 and 7 thereof, shall come into force on the 1st January 1967.

This Order may be cited as the Family Provision Act 1966 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1966.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on the 1st January 1967 all the provisions of the Family Provision Act 1966, except section 3 (which came into force on the passing of the Act) and section 7.
