The Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1966

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 12 of the Trustee Investments Act 1961 and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

The powers of investment conferred by section 1 of the Trustee Investments Act 1961 shall be extended by adding to paragraph 7 of Part II of Schedule 1 thereto the following manner of investment:—
In Bank of Ireland 7 per cent. Loan Stock 1986/91

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

This Order may be cited as the Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1966, and shall come into operation on 19th April 1966.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order adds Bank of Ireland 7 per cent. Loan Stock 1986/91 to the list of “Narrower-Range Investments Requiring Advice” set out in Part II of Schedule 1 to the Trustee Investments Act 1961.
