The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 33 of the Superannuation Act 1965 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Rules:—

These Rules may be cited as the Superannuation (Tropical Research Units-and Civil Service) Transfer Rules 1966, and shall come into operation on 5th July 1966.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Rules provide for service (after the age of 18) in the Tropical Pesticides Headquarters and Information Unit, the Tropical Pesticides Research Unit and the Tropical Stored Products Centre of certain employees, who, on 1st April 1965, were taken into the Civil Service, to be reckoned on certain conditions as unestablished civil service for the purposes of the Superannuation Act 1965.
