Made: 14th September 1967

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 100(3) and 106(5) and (6) of the Criminal Justice Act 1967, I hereby make the following Order:—

12, 13 & 14 Geo. 6. c. 94. The Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1949 Section 7(3). In Schedule 11, the amendment of section 23 of the Criminal Justice Act 1948.

The provisions of Article 1 of the said Order bringing into force on 1st January 1968 the repeals of the enactments listed in Appendix B to Schedule 2 which relate to the enforcement of fines imposed or recognizances forfeited by courts other than magistrates' courts shall be without prejudice to the application of those enactments on and after the said date in relation to fines imposed or recognizances forfeited before that date.

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 1967 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1967.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Criminal Justice Act 1967 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1967 as respects the dates on which certain repeals made by the Criminal Justice Act 1967 are to come into force.
