The Performing Animals Rules 1968
Made: 11th September 1968
Coming into Operation: 1st October 1968
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 5 of the Performing Animals (Regulation) Act 1925, and by subsection (3) of that section as amended by the Miscellaneous Fees (Variation) Order 1968[^f00001] and the Miscellaneous Fees (Variation) (Scotland) Order 1968[^f00002], I hereby make the following Rules:—
Fees (section 1(2))

For Rule 9 of the Performing Animals Rules 1925[^f00003] there shall be substituted the following Rule:—
(9) The following fees shall be payable to the local authority:— For each registration&dotfill;£3. For the issue of a copy of a certificate of registration under Rule 7&dotfill;5s.

These Rules may be cited as the Performing Animals Rules 1968 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1968.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Rules raise the fee for the registration of exhibitors and trainers of performing animals from one guinea to £3 and abolish the shilling fee for inspections of registers and copies of certificates of registration.
