Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of the power conferred upon Her by section 22(1) of the Friendly and Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1968, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

The Friendly and Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1968 shall extend to the Bailiwick of Jersey and to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, subject to the following modifications:—

(b) he is— (i) an officer or servant (otherwise than as auditor) of a company which is a subsidiary of that society; or (ii) a person who is a partner of or in the employment of a person who is an officer or servant (otherwise than an auditor) of such a company.

This Order may be cited as the Friendly and Industrial and Provident Societies (Channel Islands) Order 1968 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1969.
