The Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1971
Made: 28th April 1971
The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of his powers under section 1(3) of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby orders as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1971.

The appointed day for the coming into force in England and Wales of the provisions of section 1 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 shall be 1st October 1971.
