Made: 17th November 1972
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 66(6) of the Criminal Justice Act 1972, I hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 1972 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1972.

The provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 1972 specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 1st January 1973.
