The Superannuation Act 1972 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1972
Made: 9th March 1972
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 30(3) of the Superannuation Act 1972 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Superannuation Act 1972 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1972.

Section 21 of the Superannuation Act 1972 and paragraphs 68 and 96 of Schedule 6 thereto shall come into force on 1st April 1972.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 1st April 1972 section 21 of and related paragraphs in Schedule 6 to the Superannuation Act 1972. These provisions are concerned with pensions for the employees of the British Airways Board group.
