Made: 1st July 1974

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6(3) of the Civil Evidence Act 1972, hereby makes the following Order:—

Sections 1 and 4(2) to (5) of the Civil Evidence Act 1972 shall come into force on 1st September 1974 for the purposes of any civil proceedings (other than proceedings in bankruptcy) in a county court.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings the Civil Evidence Act 1972 fully into operation on 1st September 1974 for the purpose of proceedings in a county court (except bankruptcy proceedings).
