Made: 4th February 1975

Laid before Parliament: 12th February 1975

Coming into Operation: 5th March 1975

The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of powers conferred by section 101 of the Social Security Act 1973 and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:—

Citation and commencement

This order may be cited as the Social Security Act 1973 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1975 and shall come into operation on 5th March 1975.

Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 66(6) of the Social Security Act 1973 (duty of the Occupational Pensions Board to make reports on their functions to the Secretary of State) shall be 5th March 1975.
