Made: 21st March 1975
The Secretary of State for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1974 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 1974 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1975.

The provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1974 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order and which relate to the matters respectively specified in relation to those provisions in column (2) of that Schedule shall come into operation on the 1st April 1975 to the extent and for the purposes specified in that Schedule.
