The Fishery Limits Act 1976 (Commencement) Order 1976
Made: 24th December 1976
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretaries of State concerned with sea fishing in Scotland and Northern Ireland respectively, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 12(2) of the Fishery Limits Act 1976 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:—

- (1) This order may be cited as the Fishery Limits Act 1976 (Commencement) Order 1976.
- (2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of this order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

The provisions of the Fishery Limits Act 1976 shall come into force on 1st January 1977.
