Made: 18th August 1977

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 65(7) of the Criminal Law Act 1977, I hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law Act 1977 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1977.

The provisions of the Criminal Law Act 1977 specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into force on 8th September 1977, in addition to the provisions coming into force on that date by virtue of the Criminal Law Act (Commencement No. 1) Order 1977[^f00001]

SCHEDULE — PROVISIONS OF THE CRIMINAL LAW ACT 1977 COMING INTO FORCE ON 8TH SEPTEMBER 1977

Provisions of the Act	Subject matter of provisions
Section 59.	Alteration of maximum periods of imprisonment in default of payment of fines etc.
So much of Schedule 13 as is specified in the Appendix hereto.	Repeals.

This Order brings into force on 8th September 1977 the provisions of the Criminal Law Act 1977 set out in the Schedule to the Order.
