The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 56(1) of the Aircraft and Shipbuilding Industries Act 1977 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Aircraft and Shipbuilding Industries (Shipbuilding Industry Vesting Date) Order 1977.

The shipbuilding industry vesting date for the purposes of section 19(2) of the Act shall be 1st July 1977.
