In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89(3) of the Domestic Proceedings and Magistrates' Courts Act 1978, I hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Domestic Proceedings and Magistrates' Courts Act 1978 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1978.

The provisions of the Domestic Proceedings and Magistrates' Courts Act 1978 specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into force forthwith.

SCHEDULE — PROVISIONS OF THE DOMESTIC PROCEEDINGS AND MAGISTRATES' COURTS ACT 1978 COMING INTO FORCE FORTHWITH

Section 86.	Amendment of Administration of Justice Act 1964.
Section 88(5).	Construction of references to enactments.
Section 89 (except paragraph (a) of subsection (2)).	Transitional provisions, repeals and commencement.
Section 90.	Short title and extent.
Schedule 1.	Transitional provisions.
So much of Schedule 3 as relates to section 2 of the Administration of Justice Act 1964.	Repeal of subsection (3A) of section 2 of the Act of 1964.
