Made: 27th September 1979

Coming into Operation: 1st January 1980

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 62(3) of the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Cider and Perry (Exemption from Registration) Order 1976 (Amendment) Order 1979 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1980.

Article 2 (1) of the Cider and Perry (Exemption from Registration) Order 1976 shall be amended by substituting for the words “1,500 gallons” the words “70 hectolitres”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Cider and Perry (Exemption from Registration) Order 1976 by replacing the units of measurement expressed in Imperial terms by metric units of measurement.
