The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 14(1) of the British Aerospace Act 1980, and after consulting British Aerospace and the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the British Aerospace (Appointed Day) Order 1980.

The appointed day for the purposes of the British Aerospace Act 1980 is 1st January 1981.
