Made: 17th November 1981

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretaries of State respectively concerned with the sea fish industry in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 46(4) of the Fisheries Act 1981, hereby make the following order:—

This order may be cited as the Fisheries Act 1981 (Commencement No.2) Order 1981.

The provisions of section 31 of the Fisheries Act 1981 shall come into force on 18th November 1981.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order brings into force on 18th November 1981 section 31 of the Fisheries Act 1981, which relates to schemes of financial assistance for fish farming in Great Britain and is the only provision of that Act which is not already in operation.
