Made: 2nd March 1981

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 26(2) of the Health Services Act 1980 and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby make the following order:—

This Order may be cited as the Health Services Act 1980 (Commencement No.2) Order 1981.

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 25(2) of and Schedule 5 to the Health Services Act 1980 shall be 1 April 1981.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into operation section 25(2) of and Schedule 5 to the Health Services Act 1980 which make amendments to the National Health Service Act 1977 (c. 49) and the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 (c. 29) relating to exemptions from dental and optical charges.
