The Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1982
Made: 27th July 1982
Laid before Parliament: 4th August 1982
Coming into Operation: 1st January 1983
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 1(1) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975, and after such consultation as is mentioned in section 18(4) thereof, I hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1983.

The sports stadium specified in the Schedule to this Order (being a stadium which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators) is hereby designated as a stadium requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
