The Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Act 1982 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1982
Made: 7th October 1982
The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 38(2) of the Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Act 1982 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Act 1982 (Commencement No.3) Order 1982.

The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 1 hereto shall come into force on 1st November 1982.

The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 2 hereto shall come into force on 31st December 1982.
4
The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 3 hereto shall come into force on 1st April 1983.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings further provisions of the Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Act 1982 into force. The provisions specified in Schedule 1 to the Order (comprising one provision of Part I (oil), certain provisions of Part IV (offshore activities), one provision of Part V (miscellaneous and general), and certain provisions in Schedules 3 and 4) are brought into force on 1st November 1982; those specified in Schedule 2 to the Order (comprising further provisions of Part I (oil) and related provisions in Schedules 3 and 4) are brought into force on 31st December 1982; and those specified in Schedule 3 to the Order (the remaining provision of Part I (oil) and related provisions in Schedule 4) are brought into force on 1st April 1983.
