The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1982
Made: 9th March 1982
The Secretary of State for the Environment as respects England and the Secretary of State for Wales as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 74(3) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, hereby make the following order:

This order may be cited as the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1982, and shall come into operation on 1st April 1982.

The following provisions of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, namely,—
- (a) section 47;
- (b) section 73(1) so far as relating to the entries in Schedule 17 specified below;
- (c) Schedule 13; and
- (d) Schedule 17 so far as relating to the entries in Part II thereof as respects sections 2, 4 and 95 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 3 of the Countryside Act 1968;

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This order provides for section 47 of and Schedule 13 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, together with the relevant repeals in Part II of Schedule 17 to the Act, to come into force on 1st April 1982. The provisions in question relate to the Countryside Commission.
