The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 36(2) and (3) of the Aviation Security Act 1982 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Aviation Security Fund (Date of Completion of Winding Up) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 9th November 1983.

The winding up of the Aviation Security Fund was completed on 31st October 1983.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order declares 31st October 1983 to be the day on which the winding up of the Aviation Security Fund was completed. The Fund was wound up pursuant to the Aviation Security Fund (Winding Up) Order 1983 (S.I. 1983/81). By virtue of section 36(2) of the Aviation Security Act 1982, sections 32(1), (5), (6) and (7) and 33 of that Act (which make provision for the Fund) ceased to have effect on that date.
