The Salmon and Migratory Trout (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation No. 2) Order 1983

The Minister of Agriculture Fisheries and Food, and the Secretaries of State respectively concerned with the sea fishing industry in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 5(1) and 20(1) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:—
Citation and commencement

This order may be cited as the Salmon and Migratory Trout (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation No. 2) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 14th February 1983.
Variation of previous order

In Article 3(1) of the Salmon and Migratory Trout (Prohibition of Fishing) (No. 2) Order 1972[^f00002] the words from the beginning to “both days inclusive” shall be deleted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This order varies the Salmon and Migratory Trout (Prohibition of Fishing) (No. 2) Order 1972 by removing the time limit at the end of which that order was to expire.
