Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 3(2) of the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1974, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Church Building Act 1831 (Repeal) (Jersey) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 26th May 1983.

The repeal of the Church Building Act 1831 by Part VII of the Schedule to the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1974 shall extend to the Bailiwick of Jersey.
