Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This order corrects an error in the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Act 1983 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1984 by deleting from the provisions to be brought into force by that order, the entry relating to the repeal of the Local Government Act 1966, which repeal was brought into force by the No. 1 order. The order also adds to the provisions of the No. 5 order to be brought into force on 1st January 1985, section 30(3) of the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Act 1983 which provides for certain enactments amended by the Residential Homes Act 1980 (c. 7) to continue to have effect as amended notwithstanding the repeal of that Act.
