Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 80 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1906 and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Registration of Colonial Government Ships) (Amendment) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 13th November 1985.

The Merchant Shipping (Registration of Colonial Government Ships) Order 1963, as amended[^f00001], shall be further amended as follows:

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order extends the provisions of the Merchant Shipping (Registration of Colonial Government Ships) Order 1963 (which relate to the registration as British ships of ships belonging to or operated by the Governments of certain overseas territories), to ships belonging to or operated by the Government of Saint Helena.
