The Control of Pesticides (Advisory Committee on Pesticides) Order 1985

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State, acting jointly, in exercise of the power conferred by section 16(7) of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—
Title, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Control of Pesticides (Advisory Committee on Pesticides) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 31st October 1985.

In this Order “the Ministers” means the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State.
Establishment of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides

There shall be established a committee to be called the Advisory Committee on Pesticides for the purpose of giving advice to the Ministers on any matters relating to the control of pests in furthering the general purposes of Part III of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985.
