The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 1(4) of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985, and after consulting the Trustee Savings Banks Central Board, hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985 (Appointed Day) (No. 3) Order 1986.

The vesting day for the purposes of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985 shall be 21st July 1986.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order appoints 21st July 1986 as the day for the transfer by virtue of section 3 of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985 of the assets and liabilities of certain of the bodies comprising the existing TSB group to certain of the bodies comprising the new TSB group.
