Made: 23rd October 1986

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 68(5) of the Gas Act 1986, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Gas Act 1986 (Commencement No.2) Order 1986.

Section 62 of the Gas Act 1986 shall come into force on 14th November 1986.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force on 14th November 1986 section 62 of the Gas Act 1986 (exclusion of certain agreements from the Restrictive Trade Practices Act 1976 (c.34)). This is the last provision of the Gas Act to be brought into force, apart from Part III of Schedule 9 and section 67(4) (so far as it relates to that Part), which by virtue of section 68(4) will come into force on the dissolution of the British Gas Corporation.
