Made: 27th November 1986
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 41 of the Public Order Act 1986, I hereby make the following Order:—

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Public Order Act 1986 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1986.
- (2) In this Order “the 1986 Act” means the Public Order Act 1986.

The provisions of the 1986 Act specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 1st January 1987.

In Schedule 3, the entries relating to: the Erith Tramways and Improvement Act 1903, the Middlesex County Council Act 1944, the County of South Glamorgan Act 1976, the County of Merseyside Act 1980, the West Midlands County Council Act 1980, the Cheshire County Council Act 1980, the Isle of Wight Act 1980 the Greater Manchester Act 1981 the East Sussex Act 1981, section 62(10) of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985. | Repeals. |
