The Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act (Commencement) Order 1986
Made: 1st December 1986
In exercise of the power conferred upon me by section 30(3) of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, I hereby make the following Order:—

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act (Commencement) Order 1986.
- (2) This Order does not extend to Northern Ireland.

The provisions of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 mentioned in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 1st January 1987.

Explanatory note
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order, which does not extend to Northern Ireland, brings into force on 1st January 1987 the whole of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 apart from sections 7 and 10(3) and Schedule 2 (which relates to designated breeding and supplying establishments), and section 29 (which concerns the Act's application to Northern Ireland).
