The Copyright (Singapore) (Amendment) Order 1987

Made: 10th June 1987

Coming into force: 9th July 1987

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 10th day of June 1987 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, and by virtue of the authority conferred on Her by sections 31, 32 and 47 of the said Act, is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Copyright (Singapore) (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 9th July 1987.

The Copyright (Singapore) Order 1987[^f00002] shall extend to Gibraltar, subject to the modification set out in article 5 of that Order.

Article 4 of that Order shall have effect in respect of this Order as it has effect in respect of that Order, references in that article to the commencement of that Order being taken to be references to the commencement of this Order.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order extends to Gibraltar the Copyright (Singapore) Order 1987, which provides for the copyright protection in the United Kingdom and other dependent countries of the Commonwealth of works and other subject-matter originating in Singapore.
