The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(1) and 4(1) of the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act 1976 [^f00001], and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations shall come into force on 21st July 1987 and may be cited as the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) Regulations 1987.

In Parts I and II of the Schedule to the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985[^f00002] for “£220” there shall be substituted “£260”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations increase the daily fee of £220 prescribed by the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985 for the use of the facilities of a designated station (as defined in section 2(3) of the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act 1976) for the testing of a unit of transport equipment or for the testing of a unit of transport equipment as a type vehicle to £260.
