The Lord Privy Seal in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 5(2) of the Chevening Estate Act 1987[^f00001] hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Chevening Estate Act 1987 (Commencement) Order 1987.

The Chevening Estate Act 1987 shall come into force on 1st September 1987.
