The A421 (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Trunking) Order 1987
Made: 4th September 1987
Coming into force: 12th October 1987
The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of his powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The highway described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a heavy black line on the deposited plan shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

In this Order:—
- (1) all measurements of distance are approximate and are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
- (2)
- (i) “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered RSE/A421/1A/65/2/1 marked “The A421 (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Trunking) Order 1987” signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;
- (ii) “the A421 road” means the Weston-on-the-Green to Bletchley Road (A421).

This Order shall come into force on 12th October 1987 and may be cited as the A421 (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Trunking) Order 1987.
SCHEDULE — HIGHWAY TO BECOME TRUNK ROAD
That length of the A421 road which extends from a point 350 metres south west of its junction with Middleton Stoney Road (A4095) southwards for a distance of 4.2 kilometres.
