At the Court of Saint James, the 21st day of October 1987 Present, The Counsellors of State in Council
Now, therefore, His Royal Highness The Prince Andrew Duke of York and Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, being authorised thereto by the said Letters Patent, and in pursuance of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985[^f00001] and all other powers enabling Her Majesty, and by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Privy Council, do on Her Majesty’s behalf order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1987.
- (2) The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) Order 1987[^f00002] is revoked.

The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986[^f00003] is amended by deleting Schedule 1 thereto[^f00004] and substituting therefor the following —

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986 in order to specify that the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, The Hague, 25th October 1980 (Cm.33) has entered into force for Spain.
