The Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 (Continuation) (Jersey) Order 1987

At the Court of Saint James, the 21st day of October1987 Present, The Counsellors of State in Council

Now, therefore, His Royal Highness The Prince Andrew Duke of York and Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, being authorised thereto by the said Letters Patent, and in pursuance of section 10(3) of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973[^f00001], by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Privy Council, do on Her Majesty’s behalf order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 (Continuation) (Jersey) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 30th November 1987.

Sections 1 to 8 of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973, as it has effect in the Bailiwick of Jersey, shall continue in force for a period of one year beyond 30th November 1987, being the date on which they would otherwise expire.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order continues provisions of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 in force in the Bailiwick of Jersey for one year from 30th November 1987 (being the date to which those provisions were continued in force by the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 (Continuation) (Jersey) Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1885).
